Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the GOMOKU Android app provided by Watercoding.

The app stores match history, an in-progress match, difficulty, and gameplay settings on your device.

When you use nearby friend play, Google Nearby Connections may be used to discover and connect nearby devices. Device identifiers required for that connection may be processed temporarily.

Stored information is used to resume games, show records, replay matches, and preserve your settings.

The app contains advertising. During ad delivery, information such as the advertising identifier, IP address, device and app information (including operating system, app version, and language settings), network information, and ad display or interaction events may be transmitted automatically to advertising providers.

This information may be used to deliver ads, limit ad frequency, measure performance, and prevent fraud or abuse. You can manage ad personalization and reset or delete the advertising identifier in Android settings. The app does not request precise location permission solely for advertising.

Match and settings data are stored on the device. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app may remove this information. Information transmitted to external advertising providers may be retained or deleted under their respective policies.

Nearby friend play uses Nearby Connections from Google Play services. Third-party services may process information while providing advertising or nearby-device connectivity, and their respective privacy policies may apply.

The app is not designed to intentionally collect personal information from children.

If features or applicable laws change, we may update this policy and its effective date.
